The last century has seen the greatest changes in the way bulidings are made, in what they are made of, and in what we expect them to do. While we build many of the same types of buildings in 2004 as we would have in 1904, an architect from a century ago would hardly recognize a construction site today. He would also be amazed by what our bulidings today are capable of, and the process we use to design them.
